Huffington Post seeks associate news editor

The Huffington Post, a liberal news website and one of the most visited websites in the world, is looking for an associate news editor to work on the front page of the site as well as its other news pages.

Job duties include: assisting editors with Huffington Post's top headline; composing headlines, choosing photos, selecting video clips, site layout; compiling general news stories; editing original reporting; liaising with the blog team, vertical editors, members of the news team; reporting, writing when necessary; and creating multimedia features including video, audio reports and slide shows.

The position is based in New York.
