$75,000 environmental reporting prize

The Grantham Prize for Excellence in Reporting on the Environment annually recognizes and honors the work of one journalist or team of journalists for exemplary reporting on the environment.

The $75,000 prize is awarded to nonfiction work done in North America during the previous calendar year in newspapers, magazines, and books and on television, cable, radio, and online.

The postmark deadline for entries for the 2008 award is January 14, 2009, for books, and February 4, 2009, for all other submissions. The winning journalist or reporting team will be announced in Summer 2009.
