Entry-level journalism jobs in Minnesota

A couple Minnesota newspapers are currently seeking reporters and/or photographers, according to Minnesota Newspaper Association's job board:
  • Reporter/Photographer: The award-winning Litchfield Independent Review is accepting resumes for a full-time reporter/photographer position. Duties include writing features, crime and government news, as well as photography. Knowledge of Quark XPress, Photoshop and Web publishing required.   • Reporter: The Tri-County News of Cottonwood, Minn., is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of reporter. Duties at our weekly newspaper include reporting on community and school events, sports, local government and human interest stories. Experience or education in reporting, photography or page layout a plus, but we are willing to train an individual who is willing to learn. Must be self-motivated.
