Paid internship @ home decor magazine

Metropolitan Home and ELLE DECOR magazines are looking for an editorial intern to help with its website immediately. The magazines are based in Manhattan and focus on home design and decorating.

Interns assist with product selection for magazine articles, write blogs, research trends in the shelter/home category, fact-check, and help editors with various tasks.

"The intern will work closely with top editors and wear a lot of hats -- there is also potential for short feature writing and great bylines." the ad states. "A basic knowledge of HTML and Photoshop is a plus, but we will accept applicants with no prior web experience who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. "

College students and recent grads are eligible. The ideal candidate will be available Thursdays and Fridays. A travel stipend is available.
