Paid trainee program @ CNN

CNN offers a training program in producing and editing for master's degree students.

Applicants selected for the CNN Masters Fellowship Program will spend this summer working full-time at a CNN bureau, earning $1,000 per week. After graduation, they will be hired on a permanent basis (if all goes according to plan).

Opportunities are available to intern at Anderson Cooper 360 in New York, the Situation Room in Washington and the CNN Wire in Atlanta.

"As a part of our program, students will participate in several speaker series and social events specially designed to provide networking opportunities with top executives and exposure to diverse departments throughout the company," the ad states. "Students will be challenged to think creatively and develop necessary skills to succeed in the news industry."

To apply, e-mail your resume and cover letter to masters.program@turner.com by February 21. In the subject heading, type which particular opportunity you're interested in.
