Temporary reporter @ AP's Raleigh bureau

The Associated Press, the world's largest and oldest news organization, immediately seeks a reporter for an 18-week assignment in its Raleigh, N.C. bureau.

The reporter will work during the 2009 state legislative session, which has already begun.

"This reporter will join our team covering the top general news stories in the region for a state, national and international audience through accurate, aggressive and thorough reporting, and strong and compelling writing," the ad states. (Given that you'll be in the state capital during legislative season, I imagine some political reporting will also be involved.)
