Entry-level reporters @ various newspapers

Here are some jobs that may be apt for a young journalist or someone just starting out:
  • The Clifton Journal, a 26,000-circulation weekly newspaper about 25 minutes from New York City, seeks a full-time reporter. Journalist will cover an assigned beat including municipal and school board meetings, as well as other board assignments. Apply online.
  • The Youngstown Vindicator, a 60,000-circulation daily newspaper between Pittsburgh and Cleveland, has several one-year reporting gigs available at the moment for recent graduates. Contact Editor Todd Franko at tfranko@vindy.com.
  • Hometown News, a chain of weekly newspapers along South Florida's coast, seeks a full-time reporter for its Indian River County editions, which have a 50,000 circulation.
