Paid internship @ Boston area newspaper
The Lowell Sun, a 50,000-circulation daily newspaper near Boston, is offering a paid summer reporting internship.
Intern will get to do substantive work -- reporting and writing, not fetching coffee. Expect at least bylines by summer's end and a front page story. Pay is $350 per week. Applicants must have a car. Those with multimedia skills are particularly encouraged to apply. Preference given to applicants with local ties.
By March 15, e-mail cover letter, resume and clips to Assistant Managing Editor Tom Zuppa at tzuppa@lowellsun.com.
