MLB.com seeks sports journalist
MLB.com, the official website of Major League Baseball, seeks an online journalist to cover minor league baseball.
The position is based in New York City, 30 hours per week and involves working on nights and weekends.
Responsibilities include: writing Minor League news stories in a tight, deadline-driven environment; writing headlines and captions; creating graphics and photos to accompany stories. Content will appear on both MLB.com and MiLB.com.
Applicants should have one year of journalism experience, a college degree, strong writing and copy-editing skills, knowledge of baseball and experience with Photoshop and basic HTML.
