Paid publishing internship in D.C.

Thompson Publishing Group, publisher of print and online newsletters and handbooks on a wide variety of topics, seeks a paid intern for the summer.

The full-time position is based in Washington, D.C., and pays $9 per hour. Possibility for continuing on a part-time basis through the fall semester. Only rising college sophomores and juniors with a journalism background are eligible to apply.

"As a member of our editorial team, you will conduct web and phone research for staff editors, write news articles, proofread publications, and handle other tasks," the ad states. "Knowledge of AP style is a plus."
