Entry-level newspaper reporters in Northeast

A couple newspapers in northeastern states are seeking young reporters:
  • Pennsylvania: The Towanda Daily & Sunday Review, a small daily newspaper in northeast Pennsylvania, seeks a reporter to cover local news and features. "Some professional experience preferred but sharp grads who worked on a college paper are encouraged to apply," the ad states.   • New Jersey: The Princeton Packet, a semi-weekly newspaper about an hour from Philadelphia, seeks a staff writer. "Job involves news and feature writing, including municipal and school board night meeting coverage," the ad states. "Ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and have 1+​ years of news writing experience, computer literacy and typing proficiency ... Local candidates preferred."
