Guam newspaper seeks H.S. journalists

The Pacific Daily News, a 20,000-circulation daily newspaper in Guam, seeks high school students to write for its teen section VIBE.

"Students selected for the program will undergo basic journalism training throughout the summer," the ad states. "During the yearlong internship program, VIBE interns interview other teens and write stories about teen-related news, issues, events, features and trends. Stories appear in the weekly VIBE section in Monday's Pacific Daily News, online at www.GuamPDN.com and in the quarterly teen magazine, VIBE Extreme."

Incoming freshman through seniors are eligible, and 14 students will be selected. Deadline to turn in application packages is June 5. Click here for more info on how to apply.
