Entry-level reporter @ NYC weekly paper
The Queens Tribune, a 146,000-circulation weekly newspaper in New York City, is seeking an entry-level reporter. The ad specifically mentions that invites applications from "recent graduates."
"The reporter will be required to cover a beat, write news and features, meet tight deadlines, pitch story ideas, copy edit, take photos, proofread and participate in our growing blog," the ad states. "A dedicated and patient editorial staff will train the right person, although experience is a plus."
Applicants must have a car and should e-mail resumes and clips to editor@queenstribune.com.
EDIT: It's the Tribune, not the Chronicle. Thanks for the correction.

Hi - just a note, it's the Queens Tribune, not the Queens Chronicle. There are at least 3 different Queens papers in the area. Thanks!
