Paid Fall internship @ NYC TV station

WPIX, a Tribune Broadcasting television station in New York City, is offering a paid Fall internship in its newsroom. The intern will even have the opportunity to produce his/her own segments.

"The internship will focus on five areas: newsgathering, news production, features production, news library management and sports -news production," the ad states. "... The interns may assist with coordinating live shots, pulling file tape and general duties of the line producer.In addition, the interns will be able to attend pitch meetings, and under the supervision of a segment producer, work on their own segments."
