Entry-level sports reporter @ Virginian-Pilot

The Virginian-Pilot, a 170,000-circulation daily newspaper in Norfolk, Va., is offering a paid 6-month internship on its Sports desk.

Pay is $600 for week. Deadline to apply is Dec. 1

To apply:

1. Submit a cover letter, resume and the names of three references.

2. Include eight to ten published work samples showing the range of your best writing. You may include a CD to accompany your packet or add links, but we still must see examples of your published work as it appeared in print.
