9-month paid internship @ PC World magazine

PC World, a 1 million-circulation global computing magazine, is offering a paid editorial internship. The position is 20 hours per week, will last six to nine months and is based in San Francisco.

"The intern will be tasked with assisting lab staff with their daily tasks, helping to evaluate computer hardware, writing for PCWorld.com, the PCWorld.com Business Center, and PCWorld in print, and studio photography assistance," the ad states. "The intern will also pitch, research and write blog entries and product reviews as well as participating in PCWorld’s Twitter, Facebook, and other social networking efforts."

Applicants who are currently enrolled in a college journalism or writing program are preferred, though students in any discipline, along with recent graduates or career changers will also be considered.
