Pro baseball reporter job in NYC

MLB.com, the official website for Major League Baseball and its teams, seeks a journalist to cover minor league baseball. Position is 30 hours per week and based in New York City.

The editorial producer will write stories and produce all content for Minor League Baseball’s official website (MiLB.com), as well as all Minor League material on MLB.com. "The ideal candidate will have a passion for and knowledge of baseball, a journalism background, strong writing skills and some experience working for an online media outlet," the ad states. "This is a part-time, seasonal position."

Applicants should have one year of journalism experience, a bachelor's degree, know and understand baseball and have experience with Photoshop and basic HTML.
