Associate editor @ philanthropic foundation

The Ford Foundation, a private philanthropic institution that “serves as a resource for innovative people and institutions worldwide,” seeks an associate editor. Position is based in New York.

“The Associate Editor participates in planning, researching, writing, editing and producing print and digital content for the Ford Foundation,” the ad states. “The Associate Editor performs the full range of editorial functions in cooperation with other editors in the communications office.”

Applicants should have 3-5 yrs experience as a reporter/writer, preferably at a magazine, website or newspaper and a bachelor’s degree. Experience with HTML coding a big plus as is knowledge of social justice issues.
