The Garner Citizen, a small newspaper located near Raleigh, N.C., seeks an early career reporter to write stories and produce content for its weekly newspaper and website.
"This new full-time position will work closely with editors fielding assignments while developing enterprise and watchdog stories," the ad states. "Hours and coverage areas vary, requiring flexibility. This reporter will write stories on breaking news, community events and/or local meetings. Newsroom experience and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite are a plus. Experience with social media, multimedia, HTML/CSS, and video are preferred."
