The Corvallis Gazette-Times, a 12,000-circulation daily newspaper located in the heart of Oregon's Mid-Willamette Valley, is seeking a news reporter.

"This reporter will lead our coverage of higher education and Oregon State University, which is based in Corvallis; job duties also include covering breaking news, features and general assignments involving law enforcement and the courts," the ad states. "Minimum requirements include experience writing for a newspaper, plus a college degree in journalism or equivalent combination of experience and education.
