L.A. community news website seeks freelancers

Montrose Patch is seeking reliable freelance reporters residing in and around the Glendale, CA area. Montrose Patch is a community news website covering the Montrose-La Crescenta area. It is part of the Patch.com family.

Reporters are needed to cover local events, government, schools, police and fire stories, human interest stories, business profiles and features. Story pitches are also welcome.

Freelancers must live in or near the Glendale, CA area, have reliable transportation and a digital camera. Previous journalism experience is required.

Payment ranges from $50-$100 per article.
