Editor of CQ Homeland Security

CQ-Roll Call Group seeks an experienced, hands-on editor to manage coverage and edit stories for CQ Homeland Security, CQ-Roll Call Group’s daily electronic newsletter and web site on homeland security policy. The editor will work with and supervise an associate editor to oversee news coverage of homeland issues in Congress and the agencies, edit stories, and ensure that the publication is rich with original content as well as government documents, security related legislation and schedules. The editor must have a thorough grasp of the policy issues involved, excellent news judgment, an understanding of specialty publishing and a demonstrated ability to write and edit accurate, thorough and timely news stories. The jobs entails interacting with other CQ editors and reporters to guide the product on a daily basis.
