Entry-level online reporter for Ft. Wayne newspapers

Fort Wayne Newspapers is seeking full-time online content reporter for FortWayne.com and its satellite sites.

This person will create and edit content for various platforms including websites, smartphones and other new and evolving online and digital technologies. This position requires flexible schedules and weekend work. This is an entry-level position.

The person will be responsible daily for generating content and updating FortWayne.com with stories and features while working closely with the New Media Editor's guidance.

Qualifications and Skills:
Prior online experience; Familiarity with CMS Familiarity with a variety of web tools, including knowledge of basic HTML and Photoshop Understanding of SEO concepts Video editing (preferred); Excellent written and oral communication skills; Bachelor's degree in Journalism or equivalent.
