Entry-level reporter @ N.C. weekly newspaper
The Alleghany News, a weekly community newspaper located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of northwestern North Carolina in Sparta, N.C., seeks a general assignment reporter.
Reporter will cover local government, school board, feature stories, spot news and some sports coverage as needed. Digital SLR photography and Macintosh computer experience a plus. Knowledge of AP style necessary. Some nights and rotating weekend work required.
