  • The Monroe, N.C. Enquirer-Journal, a 7,000-circulation daily newspaper, seeks an entry-level reporter. We're looking for a curious, hard-hitting writer who knows how to form relationships to get in-depth stories. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to write concisely and on tight deadlines, have a solid grasp of AP Style and can hit the ground running. A love of covering government and court happenings is a must! This position is ideal for writers with experience at weeklies, eager college graduates or experienced journalists with a love of small-town reporting.
