CNNMOney.com -- the business news web site for CNN, Fortune Magazine, and Money Magazine -- is seeking an Associate Producer (JR Reporter) for its New York newsroom.
Duties: He or she must work closely with the site's editors to report and write business news articles in the following areas: Markets, technology, small business, personal finance and economy. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to respond to breaking news.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have 2 - 3 years reporting experience with a business publication, wire service, major newspaper or online news site, and be comfortable delving into financial reports such as SEC filings, balance sheets and government data. Good communications skills, excellent command of English. Must be a good team player. Enthusiasm for journalistic work. Excellent research, interviewing and writing skills and ability to remain calm in a fast-paced, breaking news environment. At least a BA/BS degree in Journalism or English.
