Editorial assistant job @ White Plains, NY news site

White Plains Patch, a local news website near New York City, is looking for a freelance reporter to cover hard and breaking news in White Plains, and act as an assistant to the editor.

You must have a car, live close to White Plains and have a camera (video camera and editing ability a major plus). Must be able to cover hard news—such as, municipal and school meetings and budgets—during the day, night and some weekends. Background in journalism required, past job or internship experience and editing skills a plus.
