The Mount Airy News, a 9,200-circulation daily newspaper near the North Carolina-Virginia border, is seeking a sports and general assignment reporter to cover local prep and community sports and handle varied news and feature assignments.
Great opportunity for a self-starter who wants to learn the newspaper and writing business and be at the forefront of community Web journalism. Photography experience a definite plus.
