Chinese L.A. Daily News, a 50,000-circulation, Chinese language daily newspaper in El Monte, Calif., is seeking a reporter to cover news in greater Los Angeles area, including state and federal criminal, sports, community events, fires, accidents, political affairs, court trials and police activities.

The successful applicant will be a resourceful, energetic, detail-oriented reporter who is skilled at cultivating sources and who can produce compelling enterprise work as well as spot news stories, and be comfortable shooting photos when needed.

The successful candidate:
1. Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in communications or journalism.
2. Daily newspaper reporting experience is a plus.
3. Should be comfortable working within a team environment and should have a strong drive to break news.
