The South County Spotlight, a 4,000-circulation newspaper located about 30 minutes from Portland in in Scappoose, Oregon, is seeking a full-time general assignment news reporter.
The news reporter is responsible for covering assigned beats within Columbia County and generating news copy that furthers The Spotlight’s coverage goals. Applicants should have at least two years experience as a print journalist. Ideal candidate would have a passion for quality journalism, solid photography skills and willingness to tackle any assignment.
