Features reporter job @ Kentucky newspaper

The Marshall County Tribune-Courier in western Kentucky is seeking an experienced news/features reporter. Primary emphasis will be on the features section of the paper which requires the ability to seek out interesting people, places and events in Marshall County and tell their story through news articles and interesting photographs.

Responsibilities include writing, editing, photography and pagination. Must have experience in covering meetings, feature writing, page layout and design. Preference will be given to those familiar with InDesign and Photoshop.

This is a part-time position with some weekend and night work required. The normal schedule is approximately 30 hours per week. Must have reliable transportation.
