Stevens Institute of Technology, a university in Hoboken, N.J., is looking to hire a writer experienced with the Web and multimedia, to develop its online presence.

A strong writing background, familiarity with HTML and Web editing, and broad multimedia skills are a must. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude and enjoys a fast-paced environment, finessing the details, taking on a variety of creative assignments, and working closely with a small team.

Essential Responsibilities: Write and edit articles and news stories;  Update and maintain Web sites according to needs of faculty and staff; Shoot and edit photos and videos; Copyedit and proofread Web and print materials; Contribute to social media outlets; Implement best practices for Search Engine Optimization; Perform quality assurance testing of Web content; Interact with university community to complete tasks.
