News/sports reporter job @ Oregon newspaper

The Estacada News, a 1,600-circulation weekly newspaper in Oregon, has an immediate opening for a news/sports reporter. This position is full time.

Candidate should have some previous newspaper experience along with strong writing, proof reading and customer-service skills. Newspaper layout and photography skills are a plus. Candidate also should have the ability to meet deadlines, work as a team player and demonstrate a willingness to go the extra mile to get the newspaper out. The Estacada News is a one-person office, and the reporter must be willing to provide customer service.
