Copy Editors/Page Designers needed for Centralized News Desk in Lumberton, NC; Mount Airy, NC; and LaGrange, GA. These newspapers have several immediate openings for Copy Editors/ Page Designers on their centralized copy desks. Qualified candidates will produce pages for several Heartland Publication newspapers that the Central Desk serves and other special publications and niche products. The production of these pages includes the editing, design, and writing of captions and headlines. Copy desk or equivalent experience at daily or weekly newspapers including college level student newspapers required. InDesign or Quark experience necessary. InDesign a plus.
