Paid 6-month internship @ teen magazine in London
Sugarscape, a London-based online teen magazine, is looking for an intern to work on the website full time for 6 months, starting in January 2012.
This will be a FULL-ON, hands-on(boybands) job. You'll be writing loads of content for the site every day, sourcing great competitions and interviewing weird and wonderful celebrities.
The position is paid, and wages will be discussed if you get invited to the office for an interview.
You must be 18 or over to apply. The ideal candidate will be confident, lots of fun, hard working and wanting to kick-start their web journalism career. An interest in web writing is essential. We're looking for somone who loves and knows how to use Twitter, Facebook and YouTube with their eyes closed. Candidates with video editing skills will be prefered but it's not an essential skill. You must be able eligible to work in the UK and able to travel into Sugarscape's offices in Soho, London, Monday to Friday. Some weekend work maybe required. The successful candidate will be asked to start work at the beginning of January 2012.
Working hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm which includes a one hour lunch break. The internship is paid and contracted for 6 months. You will be entitled to paid holiday too. The wage will be discussed if you are invited for an interview. If you do not hear back from us by Monday December 19th 2011, you have not reached the interview stage. Do to volume of applicants, we will not be replying to unsuccessful applications.
