The Evansville Courier & Press, a 51,000-circulation daily newspaper in Indiana, is seeking a part-time sports clerk.
The sports clerk will build the Scoreboard page of high school, college and professional sports results by answering the phone, accepting emails and faxes, and checking the Associated Press wire. The sports clerk is also responsible for updating thescore.courierpress.com website and posting the Scoreboard page online in PDF format.
The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, self-actuated, attentive to detail and organized and possess a high degree of proficiency in InDesign. The work schedule will be 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Saturday through Wednesday.
