Entry-level reporter job opening @ Jersey Shore newspaper

Star News Group, publisher of weekly newspapers in Manasquan and Point Pleasant Beach, is seeking a full time beat reporter.

Successful candidate must have a journalism or related degree. Experience is helpful, but recent college graduates who have studied journalism, English or a related subject area will be considered.

Duties include covering police, school and municipal news, as well as features. Work week also requires covering night municipal meetings and one weekend day every eight weeks. Competitive salary, Simple IRA, vacation, benefits.
