Paid summer positions @ NYC conference on digital media, broadcast & journalism

LeadAmerica is looking for upper level undergraduates, graduates and working professionals with free time in the summer to work at its "2012 Digital Media, Broadcast, and Journalism Conference" in New York City.

The July conference offers high school students hands-on topic specific simulations, field trips to the New York Times and other places, briefings with expert journalists, and a truly experiential collegiate learning environment. Other conferences on other topics at other locations are offered as well. Job openings and paid internships available include: Program Director, Program Coordinator, Team Leader, Operations Director, Operations Coordinator, Alumni Intern.

Compensation includes travel to and from the mandatory staff training and to the conference venue assignment(s) within the continental United States. Housing, most meals, cell phone allowance, airline baggage fee reimbursement (for the first bag) and a modest monetary stipend for each session worked are also included. Staff members typically work three or four sessions ranging from 5-10 days in length.
