Huffington Post hiring citizen journalists to cover presidential election
Huffington Post, one of the most visited news sites in the U.S., is hiring citizen journalists to cover the Republican and Democratic conventions.
Editors will pay 24 citizen journalists from the U.S. and Canada to cover the Republican Convention in Tampa, Florida in August and the Democratic Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina in September. The winners will get official credentials, airfare, hotel accommodation for five nights and a basic per diem.
By March 8, submit an embeddable video explaining why they should choose you, what you would cover and which medium (or mix of them) you would use. Send the video to offthebus[AT]huffingtonpost.com.
