Wire service seeks temp. Stockholm correspondent

Agence France-Presse, a worldwide news wire service, seeks An English-speaking journalist for its Nordic region bureau, located in Stockholm, Sweden.

This is a temporary full-time paid position, replacing someone on maternity leave for six months from From April 1, 2009 until October 1, 2009, possibly extended up to one year.

"Together with a team of four journalists and a photographer who work in both French and English, you will be writing and editing articles about general news and current events in the five Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden), including politics, business, culture, sports and lifestyle stories," the job posting states. Applicants should have good knowledge of both French and Swedish.
