Study abroad journalism course in Germany: May 21-June 15

Explore Europe, do some international reporting and earn 3 college credits this summer.

CubReporters.org founder Mark Grabowski is offering a 3 credit course in International Reporting through Adelphi University. The course will be co-instructed by a foreign correspondent.

Students will travel to Berlin, Germany, for 25 days beginning May 21. There, students will write stories, take photos and/or make videos related to foreign correspondence and travel writing. Most Germans speak English, so students do not need to know any German to get around or interview people. The class ends June 15, so there's plenty time left in the summer to intern. In addition, students will have off long weekends during the course so they can travel to other countries.

Prior to departure, students will have eight online classes to prepare for the trip and to cover the basics of international reporting. These courses can be completed anywhere; you don't need to come to campus. The cost of the course is approximately $6,900 and includes tuition, airfare, hotel accommodations, meals and special events such as tours and guest speakers.

For more information or to sign up for the course, please contact Professor Grabowski at mgrabowski[at]adelphi.edu or by clicking here.
