6-month copy editing internship @ Harrisburg Patriot-News
The Harrisburg Patriot-News, a 100,000-circulation daily newspaper in Pennsylvania's capital, has an immediate opening for a paid 6-month copy editing/page design intern.
"This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or someone relatively new to the industry," the ad states. "You will be editing stories, writing headlines and designing pages on our universal nightside desk. Page design experience is a definite plus but we will also consider candidates with copy editing internships and strong recommendations. We will train you on our Harris page design system."
To apply, e-mail Executive Editor David Newhouse at dnewhouse@patriot-new.com or send mail to him at 812 Market St., Harrisburg PA 17101.
