Copy editor internship @ ESPN.com
ESPN is looking for a college student to edit articles and copy for its website. The summer internship is based at ESPN's headquarters in Bristol, Conn.
Intern's duties include: editing and polishing freelance- and staff-generated articles, checking for accuracy, proper grammar, style and appropriateness.
The advertisement doesn't say whether it's paid, but I'd guess it is. Every other ESPN internship I've come across has been paid. Also: They want a college student who's "available for employment within 12 months of the internship," so perhaps it could turn into a permanent job after graduation.
Apply online.
