AsianWeek, a 60,000-circulation national newsweekly that focuses on the Asian/Pacific Islander American community, seeks interns for its San Francisco office.
The "Newspaper Workshop" program runs 3 months for 10-15 hours per week and pays a monthly stipend.
Interns' duties include: selecting and digesting news stories for daily publication on AsianWeek.com, writing brief news stories for weekly print publication, writing announcements of events for weekly print publication, maintaining a journal on internship experiences and some administrative tasks.
