6-month paid internship @ Women's Health

Women's Health, a 1.1 million-circulation magazine that focuses on healthy living for women, immediately seeks an editorial intern. The 6-month paid position is based in New York City.

Intern's duties include : Fact checking articles; contacting and interviewing sources; assisting editors with research, statistics and additional reporting; calling in and returning products; working with Women's Health web editors as needed; administrative tasks such as scanning documents, making photocopies and faxing.

"We are seeking a star candidate with a strong desire to learn and grow within the journalism field," the ad states. "Excellent communication and organizational skills is required. Prior internship experience is preferred."
