Hudson Valley radio station seeks journalists

If you're looking for a career in radio journalism, there are opportunities at WGNY, a radio station at 1220 AM and 103.1 FM in Newburgh, N.Y. (about 80 minutes from New York City):

• Director of News Operations: Applicants should have a background in journalism with a strong interest in news gathering and writing for broadcast and print. Candidate must also be capable of integrating news operations with our websites as well as anchoring on‐air newscasts segments.

• News/Broadcast interns: Several interns are needed to assist the Director of News Operations. "This position has the potential of becoming a part time or full-time paid position, upon completion of the internship," the ad states.
