Northern Jersey newspaper seeks freelancers

The Northern Valley Suburbanite, a weekly Bergen County newspaper located just across the river from Yonkers, N.Y., seeks freelance reporters and photographers to help cover news and sporting events.​

This may be a good summer opportunity for college students looking to earn some cash or build their portfolio.

"Ideal freelancers will know the area and live close by, but those interested in getting their feet wet or who already have experience in journalism will also be considered," the ad states.
