Journalism contest for Canadian students
Canadian Living, a 527,000-circulation monthly magazine that covers food, fashion, crafts, health and family advice, is offering Canadian students the chance to get articles published, win scholarships and work as magazine interns.
"If you're currently enrolled full-time in a journalism program at a Canadian college or university, we encourage you to apply today by submitting an application package and your pitch for the perfect Canadian Living feature story," the contest ad states. "Selected entrants will be invited to write and submit their stories in full. The six best pieces will be published nationally in Canadian Living Magazine or on CanadianLiving.com and the writers will be awarded cash prizes. The two grand prize winners will each be awarded $1,500 and a 12-week internship at our Toronto editorial office."
