Paid internship @ vegetarian magazine

VegNews, a San Francisco-based magazine that covers vegetarianism, is offering a paid internship from July through December. The gig pays a $500-per-month stipend and offers perks such as free food.

"Interns will gain invaluable experience reading and pitching stories, fielding inquiries, participating in editorial meetings, researching story ideas, copy editing, fact checking, and writing for the magazine, website, newsletters, and blogs," the ad states.

Additionally, "VegNews offers a host of benefits to ensure a fulfilling experience including a $500 monthly stipend, daily vegetarian lunch, product sampling, complimentary event tickets, all-you-can eat vegan cookies, a wonderful work environment (one block from the ocean in one of the most veg-friendly cities in America), advancement opportunities, course credit, and more."
