Paid internship @ Wisc. newspaper

The Racine (Wisc.) Journal Times, a 27,000-circulation daily newspaper, is offering paid internships this summer. Positions are full-time and pay $8 per hour.

"Our interns do not get coffee, unless they want a cup," the ad states. "You will be working as a newspaper reporter, covering Racine County. This is an opportunity for you to accumulate plenty of bylines, work hard, have fun and learn a lot. You will receive intensive on-the-job training, including a focus on online journalism. You'll even have your own beats, with guidance and support from experienced journalists."

Applicants should be entering their senior year in college and have writing experience with a college newspaper or other publication.

Apply online.
